This one-of-a-kind event, combining the worlds of culture, science and technology, was inaugurated on the centenary of the birth of Stanislaw Lem, an outstanding writer, philosopher and futurologist, the most popular Polish author of all time.
The five-day interdisciplinary Megabit Bomb Festival is a unique meeting of the world of culture, science and technology, which filled the spaces of the ICE Krakow Congress Center and the Potocki Palace in Krakow in September.
The event was created to look at Lem's intellectual genius and living legacy from (almost) every angle.
Meetings, book launches, debates, workshops for young and old, readings with live music, concerts, film screenings, theatrical performances and even stage improvisations - this is a telegraphic overview of the events that went into the Megabit Bomb Festival.
